Item Description: polyster staple fibre pillow to size 45x30x10 cms. and weight 400 gms.+/-5% with protective cover cloth of 100% cotton mill made superior quality for 2ac & 3a c coaches. construction details: material polyster staple fibre, fibre content 100% virgin hollow fibre non compressed in the form of sheets. identification of fibre h ollowness will be as per is:667/81 (reaffirmed 2008) each pillow should be stamped wi th indian railway logo, manufacturer name, trade mark, month & year of manufactu re in such a fashion that it will not be washed away while repeated washing. tolera nce limit for product size: plus or minus 2% and with following sampling and testin g method : 1. sampling plan for visual inspection-is 2500:2000 part 1, gil ii, aql 2.5 2. sam pling plan for laboratory testing- as per is 745:2003 for sampling purpose only. 3.te st requirement and its methods- i) identification of fibre and % composition of fillin g material as per is:667/1981. ii) identification of fibre and % composition of protectiv e cloth as per is:667/1981. iii) hollowness of fibre (microscopic examination). .
