Item Description: digital 5w walkie talkie set without keypad and without display as per rdso specification no. rd so/spn/tc/107/2018 ver.2.1 or latest, in which each set consists (1) one number vhf set with oem battery + walkie- talkie battery charger + walkie talkie oem antenna + suitable belt clip in complete box packing. (2) one n umber of spare battery from oem of the vhf set as per rdso specification rdso/spn/tc/107/2018 ver 2.1 o r latest. walkie talkie set & battery should be of the same oem. the walkie talkie set and battery should be of ip 67 rating as per para no.3.5 and 8.1 of rdso specification. the bidder should submit oem declaration about the ip rating of set as well as battery along with the tender. the details of offered walkie talkie set & battery with ip rat ing should be available in oems website to verify the specifications, failing which the bid will be rejected. type tes t certificate as per rdso specification no. rdso/spn/tc/107/2018 ver 2.1 to be submitted along with the tender . type test report should be as per the format issued by rdso and had to be carried out as per criteria defined in the iso document issued by rdso for the particular model with battery combination which is offered for inspecti on. proof of concept (poc) should be done with this division for the offered make & model as per rdso guidelin e to meet technical suitability before the issue of po. the firm to make all arrangements for the conduct of poc. i f poc results of the same make & model, without any change in hardware & software are posted by rdso in th e intranet site, then there is no need to carry out poc again. also, if any of the divisions in southern railway con ducted poc trials for a particular make/model, there is no need to conduct poc trials again for the same make/ model unless hardware/software updates are carried out by the oems. warranty- 05 years for hand set and 01 y ear for battery, battery charger and antenna. [ warranty period: 60 months after the date of delivery ]
